Matthew Wellman 

Matthew is an emerging theatre director who has recently studied under Katie Mitchell on the MA Theatre Directing course at the Royal Holloway University London.

 

His directing credits include the assistant director on the Aberystwyth Arts Centre's production of Oliver!, and then again on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

He has also worked as a visiting director for Staffordshire University, directing several of their public shows. These include, Sater & Sheik's Spring Awakening, Arthur Miller's Playing for Time, Mike Bartlett's 13 and Seamus Heany's adaptation of 'Antigone', The Burial of Thebes.
